About Me
Hi, Iām Au Chun Yin (Jaden). I work with live sound and audio production, and I am a student in Music Technology at Oregon State University. Before OSU, I studied Computer Science and finished a Certificate in Audio Engineering at community college. I grew up between Hong Kong and the U.S., and that mix of places is a big part of who I am.
I started doing sound in secondary school by helping with assemblies and concerts. I learned how a good mix can change how people feel in a room. Since then, I have worked on student events, small shows, and church services, and I enjoy making things sound clear without stressing people out.
Right now I focus on:
- Live sound for small to medium events
- Basic recording and mixing for talks, concerts, and services
- Using tools like Reaper and Pro Tools for editing and clean mixes
My style is simple and people-first. I explain things in plain English, stay calm under pressure, and try to make the stage feel safe for everyone. I also use AI tools carefully to save time on writing and planning, but I always make my own decisions about sound. If you want to know more or talk about a project, please visit my Contact page.
